Last message before we race!

It’s on for tomorrow morning! Be at Blouberg SLC from 08h30 to register.

Due to some extreme marine activity and for more obvious reasons, we have moved

The Coreban Battle of the Bay powered by Toll to Blouberg Beach SLC.

There are a few options that we are splashing about with at present!

·         Light SE – An out through the surf from Blouberg SLC, up to Doodles and return downwind the same way – 5km.

·         Or a 2 x loops out and back in the bay – 5km

·         Strong SE – Downwind from Milnerton to Blouberg – longer!!

Whatever decision, could I please ask that you are prepared with and for the following;

1.     Wetsuit and/or a Floatation jacket

2.    Leash

3.    Flares or Cell-phone in pouch. (There are waterproof pouches for sale at R99ea at the club, so bring bucks!)

*** Arrange now, if you don’t have these 3 items – sorry, no paddle!!!

The other important one is to please arrange transport amongst yourselves in case of the down-wind from Milnerton.

Pete from Naish and Kim/Ross from Coreban do have some loan/rental boards – call and arrange. Thx.

·         RACE STARTS – 10H00 (or if a downwind from Milnerton – 10h30)

·         PRIZE-GIVING – 12H00 AT Blouberg SLC – drinks and burgers for sale at the club – please support!!!
